What Are Our Security Features?

 

Social media agrregation has the potential to improve public safety situation awareness allowing first responders to save people and property that would otherwise be lost.  Yet, this potential will not be reached if effective cyberserucity measures are not in place.

 

2SAT recognizes that a cyber-attack can occur in a matter of seconds and be a vechicle to deny, degrade, or destroy first responder incident command and communication systems. 2SAT has partnered with Hexi Cyber Solutions to provide automated threat detection and response that uses endpoint recording, deep packet inspection, policy-based and machine guided responses to find and respond to threats before they do damage.  For me info click here!

 

 

 

 

 

What is Data Aggregation?

 

Data aggregation is the process retrieving data from across many sources and combining them into a single new one. The overall goal of data aggregation is to combine sources together in an effort to guarantee the output at the user interface is smaller than the input. This helps with the user’s need to process volumes of data in either a batch jobs or real time application. The benefit is that an aggregated output reduces the network traffic and increases the computer’s performance while running.  The key component to an effective social media data aggregator software package is the program’s application program interface (API).  Having an effective API in place is essential to managing quantity and quality of the important content. 2SAT's User Interface Design

 

2SAT utilizes a package of customizable standard views including; Command, Emergency Operations Center, Fire/Emergency Medical Services, Law Enforcement, and Utilities/Support services. There will also be an Administrator screen for management of access, permissions, user privileges, and information customization.  Each view will present a selection of options in a dashboard format with multiple filtering options for individualization.  The graphic user interface (GUI) will use a standard windows, icons, menus, pointer (WIMP) device type for desktop type systems. 

 

2SAT will be available with the option for mobile device touch screen manipulation capability so the system can be used across multiple platforms.  We will be customizable with customer controlled access level settings. The standard package will allow for open, limited, or restricted access levels based on username password type format.  We utilize Google Maps Enterprise software to display synthesized location data in layers on any device through a familiar visual interface.  This display feature is also customizable with filtering capability for increased situational awareness, decision making, navigation, incident command, and emergency response.

 

 

 

 

2SAT & Interoperability

 

2SAT recognizes the necessity for system interoperability in supporting the first responder community.   With an eye on fiscal responsibility, 2SAT has been designed with integration as a focus, not an afterthought.  2SAT was created to support the sharing of data following the Nation Information Exchange Model (NIEM), the Geospatial Interoperability Reference Architecture (GIRA) for geospatial information sharing, and the Information Interoperability Framework (I²F). 2SAT has painstakingly focused on aligning with these current Federal policies, principles, and practices for Enterprise Architecture; to ensure the ability to leverage federal government grant funding to purchase our product.  Additionally, we have experts on staff to walk you through everything from the grant writing process to ensure your organization is familiar with the latest in government interoperability guidance.
